1869, Crawford County August 15. Large hairy creature seen by almost everyone in the area several times, has been knocking
down fences and has been seen close to cabins. The people not knowing what it is, or what to call it, have named it "Old

1886, Washington County 9-4. For several days, people were seeing what they called a wild family, which consist of a man
woman, a girl, and a child. That are covered with black hair. Search parties captured the entire family. They do not talk, and the
women makes a grunting and groaning sound. Doctors think that the family may have been scalped by Indians and went insane.
due to the fact the man and woman are missing hair from on top of there heads. Doctors have hoped of restoring their sanity.

1962, Sedgwick County. Dennis Gates and E. Michael Abraham. While walking from house to garage, through a room without
any doors or ceiling, saw a human like creature with its head up in the rafters, huge, covered with silver gray fur. Both left. The
creature was around 6-8 foot tall, and left 18-inch tracks, track had four toes, and had a stride around 5-6 foot long. Tried to follow

1964, Southeast of Delia. Man (Bread delivery driver) reported to police at St. Mary's that at 5 AM. Monday by railroad tracks al

the weeds. It walked in the position of a gorilla. Later Sheriff and game protector could find no sign of it. Later a farmer said that

1968, Leavenworth County. Just outside of the town of Leavenworth KS. A group of people saw a seven to eight foot light colored
